1: What is Ugology all about?

Ugology is a religion based on the teachings of Jean-Phillipe Ugologisto. Modern Ugology, of which this page is a representation, was started in 1998 by Grand High Pontiff Basil Spalding Cunningham in rural Poughkeepsie, NY. It quickly spread to the liberal land of California, where The Archpope started the first practicing non-internet branch. The Archpope was promoted to Branch Pontiff, a unique position which allows the transfer of Ugology points by someone other than the Grand High Pontiff.

2: What are Ugology Points?

Ugology points are what each Ugologst strives for--- they determine his merit and standing within the organization. The Pontiff and the Archpope have vitually unlimited points, whereas new members start with zero points, and can even achieve negative point scores for bad behavior. Ugology points are earned by helping to advance the church, by recruiting members, or by pleasing the Pontiff or Archpope.

4: What/who do Ugologists worship?
We allow you to worship any deity you want, but Ugologists should always pay tribute to the Pontiff and to the spirit of Jean-Phillipe Ugologisto.
